Week 3 - Term 1 - 2021

WEEK 3, TERM 1, 2021.

Kia ora Whānau,

Thank you for your support last week, while I was out. I have discovered what I am quite allergic to Pepper Weed. I managed to pull up a plant on Friday before the team meeting and I touched my face only to have my lip swell up to look like I had been punched. Thank you to Susie Bye who was willing to step up for me.

Our focus this week will continue to be on building relationships, establishing our Class Treaty, getting to know one another, and putting some routines in place.

Huge thank you to everyone for the donations towards our Mufti Day the total hasn't been calculated but all your support will be appreciated. Congratulations to Mill Hill for a great start in winning the tug of war competition.

What is on:

Monday - Anne Cato will be in to talk about cyber safety and cricket in Schools

Tuesday - library

Thursday - Singing practice

Wednesday - Ash Wednesday Liturgy 9:00

Friday school Mass 9:00

Future events

* Swimming - Week 4

* GALA is now less than 3 weeks away. The PTA is organising the Countdown sheet presently but please start to gather items for the white elephant sale

* The swimming sports day has had to be changed because the outside pool renovation is not ready. The sports will now be on Monday 22nd March.

If you wanted to have a discussion about Ash Wednesday with your children at home, here is a good video to help.

Hope you all have a lovely week.
Jill Dinniss
