Healthy Lifestyles

 We have been working hard to learn about making some healthy changes in our lifestyle through exercise, looking at what we eat, and proper hydration. We figured out approximately how much water we should be drinking every day. We have been running or walking every day.  This week we have been looking at writing directions in groups kids created a basic cake recipe which we made this am, they then researched some substitute healthy choice items.  Some of the changes for these healthy choices were: sugar was changed with apple sauce or bananas. Some of the learning that took place this week and today, we wrote recipes, measured ingredients, took part in some science (thanks Noah, Ian, Kieran and Junior) as well as learning life skills like cooking, washing dishes, and vacuuming.
